ESPERIT ROCA WAS BORN OUT OF THE DESIRE OF THE ROCA BROTHERS TO CONTRIBUTE THEIR VISION OF THE LANDSCAPES, TO DISTILL THEM AND PROVIDE A NEW, LIQUID VIEW OF THEM.
In their quest to feed and delight people, the Roca-Fontané family have been combining different ingredients from diverse places, both near and far, for generations. Since the birth of El Celler de Can Roca, this game of pairings has multiplied, with Joan in the kitchen, Jordi in the bakery and Josep in the cellar, the habitat of wine. After all, what is a winery, if not a conservatory of landscapes?
The world of oenology has led Josep to visit and fall in love with the habitats of the great wines around the world, in both the northern and southern hemispheres. At the same time, he discovered and fell in love with landscapes of woodland, farmland and pastures, with botanical species that have proven capable of conversing with wine, and even with a spirit or a beer.

Esperit Roca was born out of the Roca brothers' desire to share their view of the landscapes, to distil them and to offer a new liquid gaze over them.
